I’ve been going to the fair my entire life and I’ve only missed 1 year. (my best friend got married that weekend – she was from Dutchess County, she should have known better!! LOL!!) There are certain things I look forward to every year. One of the major food vendors that I love were MIA this year, but my other favorite thing is the baby animals. These babies certainly didn’t disappoint!! There are 13 babies in the first video!!

Browse booths, local businesses, crafters, view and judge quilts and craft entries, and eat Funnel Cakes!!
Do you do quilting yourself?
I didn’t get around to having a funnel cake
Ohhh, I love it. The wallpaper on my BlackBerry is a 14-hour-old calf at the Altamont Fair last week. I am obsessed with baby farm animals (but especially cows).
Thanks for sharing.
Well if you get down there you can visit the one that was just born. The pork sandwiches weren’t there
I enjoyed looking at the videos,
Thank you
I’m glad you enjoyed them!
People watch, play a few games and eat kickbutt fresh fries!
Demo Derby is great too if you can catch the day its on lol.
We had some french fries and they were pretty darn good. DCF doesn’t have a demo derby though I don’t think….
I’d have to look.
Rose,
So glad that you had a great time at the Fair! Roxy and I will be going on Friday during the day maybe tomorrow too.. never know. Love the videos
All the Best!

Hi Gail! Have a great time when you go with Roxy. I’m glad you enjoyed the videos. The baby animals were in that agriculture building in the middle of the track.
Hi Rose,
Roxy and I had a great time at the fair! Kevin came too, which I was really happy about as well. Met up with people we knew including but not limited to Robin and her kiddos, Jen and Pete and their daughter Emily. Lovely weather, good fair food, and friends what could be better?!
Wanted to let you know that we picked up information on the Royal Canin! We got a coupon for you and a pamphlet as well. I got the same and bought food for Maggie with it already. She LOVES IT!! She never has been one to finish her dry food all at once, especially without anything mixed in it. The price is not too bad either. We went to Pet Country in Rhinebeck, NY. Ira had the one I needed for Maggie on hand, along with many other variations. Thanks for asking us to look for the booth for you!
Hope to talk to see you guys soon!
xoxo

Hi Gail!
I’m so glad you guys had fun at the fair! I don’t know that I know the people you met up with though.
Thanks for grabbing me a Royal Canin coupon! Bella likes it and I like that it’s specialized for her breed.
I think it’s a bit pricey, but nothing but the best for my baby right? I buy Bella’s at Pet Smart usually.
I’m down in NC right now, wondering if I’ll get stuck here because of the darn hurricane!
We’ll need to start working on your blog soon. Would you like something like the layout I have on this blog?
It’s not too difficult and then people can scroll through a few of your posts on the main page without having
to click to another page – it might be more user friendly. Plus we can get you a blog roll and things like that….

Uh-ohhh…. The animal rights folks are going to be all over you now for naming the piglets “Crisp” and “Bacon!” Time to duck and cover!
