Today Isabella had a visitor. Tequila came over for the day.
Bella wasn’t quite sure what to do with another dog in the house with her….
This picture is kind of blown out from the sun, but I think it’s funny how the two of them are looking at each other!
They were so cute! They got along better than I thought they would!!

Today Michael and I took his Mother out to Boston to Tuft’s Medical Center for eye surgery.
All went well and she’s back home and comfortable.
While in the waiting room I was playing with the camera on my cell phone and I took this picture.
I was surprised you can see me so well! (Especially considering how dirty my laptop screen is!!)

Do you sit home because you have nothing to do?
You have no excuse with meetup.com
Meetup has 100s of groups based on common interests that you can join.
We became part of our Motorcycle Club No Destination through meetup.com
On meetup there are women’s groups, motorcycle groups, photography groups, Scrabble groups, scrapbooking groups, travel groups, cooking groups, dining groups, movie groups…. the list goes on and on…. You can go to the site to search all of the different groups based on where you live.
At the time I’m writing this there are 76,213 Meetup groups, 7,051,603 different Meetup groups, 6,025, 384 Meetup events have taken place, and there have been 67,635,015 RSVP’s.
Meetup.com is also great if you’re traveling and looking for something to do. We have a member of our club who lives in Florida, but spends a lot of time working in New York. He found the club online and joined us.
So next time you’re sitting home, bored with nothing to do – check out a meetup.com event and make some new friends
With No Destination – we’ve not only made some friends, we’ve made a new family
Are you an active member on meetup.com? What are some of your favorites?

Last night Michael and I attended the Times Union’s Baseball & Bloggers event at the Dale Miller Restaurant. It was a fun evening with a great turn out. It was out first visit to the Dale Miller Restaurant. The event was held on the 13th Floor (A.K.A. – P1) and the views were beautiful!! Mike Huber – the Times Union’s Interactive Audience Manager organized the event. Job well done Mike
We arrived earlier than most of the crowd along with Amanda Talar and Kari Vanalstine. Soon after; we were approached by a Times Union photographer who wanted to take pictures of us. After she took the picture she asked us “Where are you from?“ (Insert awkward silence here)
WHAT A LOADED QUESTION!!
After she left Kari and I got talking about the possible answers.
Where it all stated: I came from my Mother’s womb.
Where I grew up: I grew up in Red Hook, NY (Dutchess County)
Since it was a blogging event I could have said my blog: Dozenroses13′s Blog
Where I currently live: Albany County
Kari’s response to the woman was “when?” (She’s moved around through the years….)
What other loaded questions have you been asked??
