Lately someone I know keeps coming out with the comment “That doesn’t inspire me.”
She wants to go to certain places to be creative and then when she arrives at the destination isn’t inspired.
Some things that inspire me are:
- Intelligent People
- Architecture
- Music
- Landscapes
- Human Behavior
- Children
- Food
So I ask the question “What inspires you?”
Please comment and subscribe.
That picture inspires me to do more shooting.
It is pretty isn’t it? I found it online months ago but don’t recall where….
A very good question. Light inspires me – if the light is right, the subject doesn’t matter so much, because having good light makes for good photographs, usually.
Challenges inspire me – taking everyday subjects and putting them in new context, and creating something unique in a photograph.
And, of course, stunning images like the one you posted provide huge inspiration and make me want to do better, and improve my photography.
Welcome Simone
That is a great perspective. Light is VERY inspiring!
Some of my favorite photos would be in the TRASH if the lighting was different!!
Funny, the end of your comment was very similar to Michael’s (tcrpmg)
Inspiration comes from the oddest places sometimes. I was inspired on 787 the other day, in the grocery store a few weeks ago, by the kids at swimming lessons often, by my amazing friends, and more!
I guess the trick is to harness it whenever it happens to show itself right??
